Last updated: 1 November 2026
Copyright and the journal
Motorkinet respects the intellectual property of others and expects readers to do the same. This page explains how to notify us if you believe material published on motorkinet.com infringes your copyright, and how we respond.
Filing a notice
Send written notice to our designated agent at [email protected] with the subject line DMCA Notice. A valid notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact URL or a precise description of the material you believe is infringing.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
What happens next
We review valid notices promptly. If a claim is substantiated, we remove or disable access to the material and notify the party who supplied it. We keep a record of notices and may restrict contributors who repeatedly infringe.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Quotation and attribution
Short quotations from this site are welcome with clear attribution and a link to the original feature. Photography is licensed or credited where required and may not be reused commercially without permission. Press images supplied by manufacturers remain the property of their owners.
Repeat infringement
Contributors and partners who repeatedly infringe copyright may have their access removed. We do not restore removed material without a valid counter-notice or a court order.
